A pilot test was successfully conducted in a textile manufacturing facility using an Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) to compare the performance of Perpion-powered Brushless DC (BLDC) motors with conventional BLDC motors and standard control systems. The AGV retrofitted with Perpion’s advanced motor technology demonstrated significant improvements in energy efficiency. It operated substantially longer on a single battery charge compared to the conventional system, effectively eliminating the need for intermittent charging between work shifts. As a result, the AGV was able to run continuously for two full shifts without interruption, highlighting not only the enhanced energy savings but also the potential for improved workflow and process efficiency on the factory floor. This pilot test validates Perpion’s ability to deliver both operational and sustainability benefits through its breakthrough motor control innovation.
